This is one of the apochrypal Books of Jasher. There are several (as many as five) separate works by this title, all composed much later than Biblical times. This particular one is a translation of a Hebrew book printed in 1613. Sepir Ha Yasher, the Hebrew title of this book, means the 'Book of the Upright', or 'the Upright or Correct Record'. This title was misread as 'Jasher', and at some point Jasher was treated as a proper name; however the pronoun 'the' (hebrew 'ha') never preceeds proper names.There is also another spurious Book of Jasher, published 1750, in which Jasher is treated as the name of the author. The Book of Jubilees

The Book of Jubilees (ספר היובלים), sometimes called the Lesser Genesis (Leptogenesis), is an ancient Jewish religious work, considered one of the Pseudepigrapha^[1] by most Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox Christians. It was well known to Early Christian writers in the East and the West, as well as by the Rabbis. Later it was so thoroughly suppressed that no complete Hebrew, Greek or Latin version has survived. It is still considered canonical for the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, where it is known as the Book of Division (Ge'ez: Mets'hafe Kufale). In the modern scholarly view, it reworks material found in the Biblical books of Genesis and Exodus in the light of concerns of some 2nd century BC Jews.

The Book of Jubilees claims to present "the history of the division of the days of the Law, of the events of the years, the year-weeks, and the jubilees of the world" as secretly revealed to Moses (in addition to the Torah or "Law") while Moses was on Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights. The chronology given in Jubilees is based on multiples of seven; the jubilees are periods of 49 years, seven 'year-weeks', into which all of time has been divided. According to the author of Jubilees, all proper customs that mankind should follow are determined by God's decree.

VARIOUS TITLES OF THE BOOK.

Our book was known by two distinct titles even in Hebrew.

(a) Jubilees

Jubilees. This appears from Epiphanius (Haer. xxxix. 6) to have been its usual designation. It is found also in the Syriac Fragment entitled 'Names of the Wives of the Patriarchs according to the Hebrew Book of Jubilees,' first published by Ceriani, Mon. sacra et profana, ii. 1.9-10, and reprinted by the present writer in his edition of The Ethiopic Version of the Hebrew Book of Jubilees. This name admirably describes the book, as it divides into jubilee periods of forty-nine years each the history of the world from the creation to the legislation on Sinai. The writer pursues a perfectly symmetrical development of the heptadic system. Israel enters Canaan at the close of the fiftieth jubilee, i.e. 2450.

(b) The Little Genesis

The Little Genesis. The epithet 'little' does not refer to the extent of the book, for it is larger than the canonical Genesis, but to its character. It deals more fully with details than the biblical work. The Hebrew title was variously rendered in Greek. 1 ((Gk.) he lepte Genesis (or Lepte Genesis)) as in Epiphanius, Syncellus, Zonaras, Glycas. 2 ((Gk.) he Leptogenesis) in Didymus of Alexandria and in Latin writers, as we may infer from the Decree of Gelasius. 3 (Gk.) ta lepta geneseos) in Syncellus. 4 ((Gk.) Mikrogenesis) in Jerome, who was acquainted with the Hebrew original.

Eg hef tekið þá ákvörðun að hafa bloggsiðuna mína

Eftir mjög miklar pælingar

Hæ allir eftir miklar pælingar hef ég tekið þá ákvörðun að hafa bloggsiðuna mína , svona eingöngu fræðsluvef ,þar sem mínar talentur er frekar tengdar því sviði og áhugamál mitt líka . Anað lika sem ég vill koma á framfæri ég er með athyglisbrest með eða án ofvirkni og fylgi fiskur er ritblinda hjá mér sem ég skammast mín mikið fyrir þetta , og mér finnst það mikið pirrandi líka ég er í námi á ensku sem gengur bara nokkuð vel enskan liggur vel fyrir mér og ég skrifaði meira á ensku en íslensku . En ég hafði ekki skrifað á íslensku í mörg ár áður en ég byrjaði að blogga hérna .En það þurfti mikið þor og kjark til og ég gerði það samt sem áður ,ég er friðelskandi og trúi því að maður eigi að koma fram í kærleika umburðalyndi gagnvart öðrum trúarbrögðum , en samt ekki í neinni afneitun og barnalegum hugsunar hætti ,ef trúarbrögð ganga útaf manfórnir og dráp eigum eigum við að sjálfsögðu ekki að þegja yfir því , það er soltið mikið sick ef trúarbrögð ganga út á það .Og mikil meðvirkni að afsaka það með því að þau eru svo kúgaður hópur . Morð er morð allir morðingjar eiga það sameiginlegt að þau áttu slæma æsku ( eða flestir ) . En samt er það er ekki afsökun eða réttlætanlegt á nokkurn hátt , þau þurfa að taka afleiðingunum samt sem áður .það mikið af góðu kristnu efni á youtube , ekki veitir af ,það er líka mikið af anti áróðir- gegn kristnu efni frá ákveðum trúar hóp þar. 'Eg vill taka það skýrt fram ég er ekki hérna með blogg síðu til að skrifa sérstaklega gegn íslam Múslimum.En mín skoðun er skýr gegn öfga íslam sem öfga túlkun Qur'ans er í hávegum höfð og á manslífum er fórnað sé fyrir málstaðin sem píslavottar þeim sem fremja verknaðinn fái einhvern heiður og virðingu fyrir það ,hvert manslíf skiptir máli í mínum huga og er dýrmætt. Ef málfrelsi ríkir og allir mega tjá skoðanir sínar, skoðanafrelsi ,Við skulum varðveita málfrelsið okkar hér á vesturlöndunum 'Íslandi ,Evrópu og berjast gegn allri kúgun gegn málfrelsinu okkar sem er okkur dýrmætt. En og aftur veðruð þessi bloggsíða mín ekki skrif gegn íslam , persónulega hef ég ekki mikinn áhuga á íslamtrú .
